Flowrish connects distant forest imagery with urban parks, gathering data on sap flow and soil moisture composition from trees in these regions. This data controls the dripping apparatus, creating algae colonies on custom-made cement sculpture surfaces, with dynamic visual changes emerging as water compositions from different regions blend and nourish the algae. The project extends beyond the exhibition space, suggesting the deep interdependence between global cities and distant forests—flourishing or decaying together—while reflecting the exhibition’s ecological perspective of micro-particles driving vast systems.
